Gutter cleaning – clearing the blockage
This is what most people mean when they call us: getting the leaves, silt and nesting material out of the channel and downpipes. A blocked gutter can’t do its job – water backs up, spills over the edge, and over time that means rot in the fascia and damp creeping into the roofline. It’s the job that protects the house.
Gutter washing – the exterior face and fascia
Gutter washing is different – it’s about the outside face of the spouting. If you’ve noticed that black tiger-striping running down the front of your gutters, that’s built-up grime and oxidisation, and it’s purely a look-and-feel issue rather than a function one. We wash that back so the gutters look as good as the rest of the house.
